Which should I choose and why? My own tax software I buy or go to someone to do my taxes?

P.S. I’ve read about these tips on taxes, child tax, etc. are they all legite or is it just a way to get an extra buck?

Does this seem right to anybody? Tips, suggestions, advice? Know a good tax person so I can get some money back for tax return? Would Turbo Tax meet my needs?
